Deep Clean is a film about a good natured but unlucky crab named Crabby. Having lived his entire life on the bottom of the ocean, crabby stumbles upon an object he’s never seen before; a can of crabby cola! Seeing the terrible effects that pollution has on his home, Crabby gathers an unlikely group of scrappy sea creatures to fight back and keep their home clean.
This film was a student film developed at CU Denver over the students Junior and Senior career. Students worked on
this story from the ground up. From story creation to final animation students were responsible for everything made in this film. Teacher input was advisory but not hands on in nature, allowing students near complete creative freedom.
